Funeral services for Clark William Epperson, 95, of Leagueville, are scheduled for 2 pm, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Leagueville Baptist Church with Bro. James Conner, Bro. Tom Bragdon, and Bro. Bill Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Leagueville Cemetery.



He passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Tyler, Texas.



Clark was born October 6, 1915 in Leagueville, Texas to Robert Little and Laura Williams Epperson. He served in the US Army and later retired from the oil field industry. Clark was also a cattle rancher until the age of 90. He married Margie Loraine Jernigan on March 21, 1992 in Leagueville.



He was preceded in death by his parents; sons: Kenneth Clark Epperson, Nolan Dement, and Lew Dement, brothers: Gordon Epperson, Horton Epperson, Kelton Epperson; sisters: Nell Humphrey, Beth Smith, and Annie Bob Jordan.



Clark is survived by his wife Margie Loraine Epperson of Leagueville; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale Mark Epperson, Steve L. and Karen Conner, William “Pat” Conner and wife Prissy; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley A. and Wayne Jarvis, Sandra F. Fielder, Vicki Lea and Bill Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Lou Jean Epperson; sisters and brother-in-law, Imogene Mullins, Lois and Richard Armstrong; 26 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.



Visitation will be held from 11 am - 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 prior to the service at Leagueville Baptist Church in Leagueville.
