Athens– Funeral Services for Judith Kinsey, 67, of Athens are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Pastor David Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery near Malakoff.

Mrs. Kinsey went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2014 in Athens, Texas.

Judith Ann Stone Kinsey was born March 21, 1947 in Athens, Texas the daughter of Fred Stone and Doris Cockerell Stone. She loved to read, paint and do cross stitch. She especially loved “her Facebook” to stay connected with all her family and friends. Her love for her children was so strong and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed by many family and friends. She was our moon, stars and sun!

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband James Kinsey of Athens; one son, Jody Kinsey and wife Ammie of Athens; two daughters, Jill Kinsey of Nashville, Tennessee, Anna Howard of Athens; three grandchildren, Paige, Chassaty, Kirsten and one great granddaughter Paizlee.

Visitation will be held at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home from 6-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 17, 2014.

Pallbearers will be Todd Lunceford, Daryl Lunceford, Brad Stover, Wade Dansby, Kent Franklin and Jason Walker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Chamness and Robert Walker.
