Athens –Memorial visitation for Terri K. Newland, 49, of Athens, Texas are scheduled from 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Ms. Newland passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 in Athens, Texas.

Terri Kristene Newland was born October 7, 1965 in Athens, Texas the daughter of Charles William Newland and Linda Kay Newland. She enjoyed many things in life especially karaoke and dancing. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all she knew.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles William Newland and her sister Charlene Newland.

She is survived by her mother Linda Kay Newland; two children Tyler Evans of Lufkin, Texas and James Hall of Athens, Texas; one brother Kenneth Wayne Newland of Chandler, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
