Obituary for Michael Andrew Tibbit
Funeral Services for Michael Tibbit, 55, of Brownsboro are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Pope City Baptist Church in Woodlawn, Texas with Bro. Donald Thomas officiating.
Mr. Tibbit passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Tyler, Texas.
Michael Andrew Tibbit was born August 15, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Louis Tibbit and Helen Marie Knoff Tibbit. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Brownsboro and a Lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was an avid outdoors-man who loved hunting, and fishing. Michael was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those he knew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Timothy Tibbit and son Andrew Tibbit.
He is survived by his wife Amy Tibbit of Brownsboro; two children; Samantha Jane Tibbit and Matthew Tyler Tibbit of Brownsboro; one sister Myrna Palmer of Belton; three brothers, Jimmy Tibbit of El Paso, Wesley Tibbit of Morgan’s Point, Gary Tibbit and wife Jackie of Albuquerque, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Kevin Brinkley, Mike Anderson, Jimmy Tibbit, Wesley Tibbit, Dewayne Fleet, and Jimmy Fleet.
Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Pope City Baptist Church in Woodlawn, Texas.
