Athens – Graveside Services for Glenn Everett, 77, of Athens are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Shelby Chapel Cemetery in Athens, Texas with Bro. Dale Perry officiating. The services will be under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.

Mr. Everett passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Tyler, Texas.

Glenn Ross Everett was born October 1, 1938 in Athens, Texas the son of Edgar Daniel Everett and Mae Morgan Everett. He was a member of the Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in Athens. Glenn was an avid outdoorsman, loved watching the Texas Rangers and Texas A&M football and playing dominoes. Grand Dad’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all those he knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Chester Everett.

He is survived by his loving wife Jean Everett of Athens; two daughters, Joey Bridges and husband Jason of Henderson, DeAnna Browning of Eustace and three grandchildren, Rachel and Ben Bridges of Henderson and Mallory Mobly of College Station
