Clarence Edd  Sisemore
Graveside Services for Clarence Sisemore, 62, of Athens will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Holly Springs Cemetery north of Athens in Van Zandt County with Bro. Roland Alsobrook officiating. Services will be under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Sisemore passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in Athens.

Clarence Edd Sisemore was born February 9, 1954 in Sherman, Texas, the son of Joseph Valco Sisemore and Ruell Estes Sisemore. Clarence worked as a fabricator for Plasson before retiring. Clarence was an avid outdoorsman with a great passion for yard work, such as cutting trees and mowing. He was a loving and devoted man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially listening to his grandson play his guitar and did his best to take part in all Chandler’s activities.


Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael Paul Sisemore and sister Cora Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Pam Stapleton Sisemore of Athens; his daughter Amy Whitehead and husband Todd of Athens; one grandson Chandler Whitehead of Athens; three brothers Johnny, Pat, and Bobby Sisemore all of Sherman; one sister Birtie Mabus of Minneola; a host of Family and Friends.
