Athens – Funeral services for Vicki Jo Kling, 62, of Walton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Phalba Independent Church of God with Dr. Dwain Mixon officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kling went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Dallas, Texas.

Vicki Jo Tullos Kling was born August 22, 1954 in Athens, Texas the daughter of Freeman Tullos and Miriam Kirkland Tullos. She graduated Athens High School in 1972 and went on to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse where she began her career and ministry helping people. She worked day and night taking great care in leading as many to Christ as she nursed many to health or walked with them through their toughest times. In her spare time, Vicki loved to work on the farm; cutting the grass, chopping wood, cleaning the fence rows or whatever else it took to make her home beautiful. She was a loving wife mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed by all she knew and loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband Harold Kling of Walton; one daughter Misty Mullenax and husband James of Walton; sister Janice Berry of Walton; one granddaughter Victoria Raven Wansley; aunts, Octavia Hill, Nancy Wilkerson; niece Kelly Berry; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Lee Smith, William Kyle Smith, Christopher Smith, Michael Magee, Stephen Magee, James Magee, Rodney McClung and Stephen White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Dan Pugh, Dr. Terry Eckert, Dr. John Blaney and Dr. Richard David.

In lieu of flowers the family would like everyone to consider saving a life through organ donation.

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the church.
