Jennifer Lee Pierce, 45 of Larue, gained her wings on Thursday April 6, 2017 in Tyler, Texas and is rejoicing with her beloved mother Janie. Jennifer was born December 27, 1971 in Athens, Texas and lived in Bradford for most of her life until the past 9 years where she lived in Larue with her husband JR Barber. She was the daughter of Roger Carl Pierce and the late Jane Ann Robison Pierce.
Jennifer is survived by her 3 children and 6 grandchildren, who all meant the world to her, she loved being a mother and a mimi. Her children are Rachael Shelton and husband Jerry of Athens, Katy Knight of Athens, and Colton Knight of Athens. Grandchildren are Devin, Peyton, Branson, Lukas, Jayden and Kinsley all of Athens. Brothers are Brad Pierce and wife Jill of Louisiana and Josh Pierce of Athens. Several neices and nephews, Jared, Laci, Trent, Emily, Braden and Bradley.
Jennifer loved to fish, work in her garden and spend time with her loved ones.
A memorial will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 3:00 at Hannigan Smith Funeral home in Athens.
