Obituary for Ronda Lynn Morton

Memorial graveside services for Ronda Morton, 47, of Tyler, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Red Hill Cemetery near Murchison.

Ms. Morton passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Tyler.

Ronda Lynn Dickinson Morton was born October 29, 1969 in Longview, Texas the daughter of Ronnie Lee Dickinson and Brenda Joyce Jones Dickinson. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Brownsboro and loved helping people. Ronda was a charge nurse at the Colonial Rehabilitation Center in Tyler and spent her entire career trying to care for her patients like they were her family. She enjoyed writing, was an amazing artist and spent her free time watching movies. Ronda truly enjoyed going places and was known as the life of any gathering she was a part of. She was a loving mother who adored her boys and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her favorite Aunt Lynette and Uncle Maner.

She is survived by her parents, Ronnie and Brenda Dickinson of Murchison; her two sons, Kyle Justin Morton of Athens, Travis William Morton of Tyler; sister Debbie House of Flint; three nephews, Dillon, Dustin, Dalton House all of Flint; numerous cousins and her cat Milo.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in her memory to Breast Cancer Research.
