Athens – Graveside services for Michael Pearce, 68, of Athens are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at County Line Cemetery in Anderson County with Mack Peacock officiating. Services are under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.

Mr. Pearce passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 in Palestine.

Michael Eugene Pearce was born September 3, 1949 in Paducah, Texas the son of Hansel Griffin Pearce and Francis Gray Pearce. He graduated High School and then enlisted in the United Sates Air Force in the early 70’s. After being Honorably discharged he went to college and became a barber where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of the Whitehouse Baptist Church and loved life. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather who will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Weichmann and husband Brandon of Dallas; one brother Randy Pearce and wife Jaquin of LaRue and two grandchildren.
