Funeral Services for Martha Ann Davis, 77, of Malakoff are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Rev. Charles Kimble officiating.

Mrs. Davis passed away in Malakoff on December 31, 2017.

Martha Ann Frost Davis was born June 26, 1940 in Lobelville, Tennessee the daughter of John Wilson Frost and Lucille Diviny Frost. She was a dedicated educator for over 32 years teaching at The Tennessee Academy in Brownsville, TN and Old Hickory Academy in Jackson, TN for twelve years and then teaching over twenty years-until retirement in the Malakoff Independent School District in Malakoff, Texas. MiMi loved her flowers, writing poetry, sewing and cooking and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister June Graham.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of forty years Ralph Davis of Malakoff; children, Eddie Mann and wife Cheryl of Christiana, Tennessee, Michele Hickson and Anthoney Armendariz of Corsicana, James Davis and wife Trina of Loxley, Alabama, Chris Davis and wife Patti of Buford, Georgia; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M., at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
