Robert Morris Bullock
Brownsboro– Funeral services for Robert M. Bullock Jr., 66, of Brownsboro will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Leagueville Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Bragdon officiating. Interment will follow at Leagueville Cemetery.
Mr. Bullock passed on April 27, 2018 in Tyler, Texas.
Robert Morris Bullock Jr. was born February 22, 1952 in Ruston, Louisiana the son of Robert Morris Bullock Sr. and Ruby Belle Potts Bullock. He worked as a highway traffic controller in Louisiana for many years and retired with JPS Construction. After retirement he worked in the Brownsboro School District as a bus monitor as he loved serving his community and kids. He married Elizabeth Lee Lewis Bullock on July 11, 2003 and they are members of the Leagueville Baptist Church where they also attended Sunday School. He was a collector of antique cars and spent many hours working on his favorite Mustang Fastback and showing it in Car shows and parades. Before that he had a collection of Cushman motorcycles which he rode in parades as well. He loved visiting his friends from all over the country and especially spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, brother and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bullock Sr. and Ruby Potts Glass.
Survivors include his wife Beth Bullock of Brownsboro; five children, Robert Christopher “Chris” Bullock and wife Sue of Houston, Jana Jones and husband Billy of Hinesville, Arkansas, Suzanne Bullock of Shreveport, Louisiana, Chad Littlepage of Malibu, California, Misty Stringfellow and husband Tony of Canton, Texas; four siblings, Karen Quinn of Monroe, Louisiana, Diane Hilton and husband Mike of Ruston, Louisiana, Paul Bullock of Downsville, Louisiana, Gary Bullock of Morgan City, Louisiana and nine grandchildren, Kimberly Bullock Conner, Aaron Bullock, Natalie Jones, Henry Jones, Katie DeSantiago, Jasmine DeSantiago, Megan DeSantiago, Bailey Stringfellow and A.J. Stringfellow.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday 10-11:00 a.m., at Leagueville Baptist Church.
