Athens - Graveside Services for James Naug, 52, of Athens are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Post Oak Cemetery in Malakoff.

James Naug passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

James Thormod Naug was born in St. Louis the son of Tom Naug and Cheri Joan DeGonia Lee. He lived most of his life in Texas but commonly referred to his home as Ironton, Missouri. Jamie was a passionate man who loved spending quality time with his daughter Kaleigh. His greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment was being her father. He was extremely loving and proud of Kaleigh and her sister Marissa Mayes. On his spare time he enjoyed being with his family and friends. He knew no stranger and had a story and joke for everyone.

Jamie is survived by his daughter Kaleigh of Eustace and her sister Marissa Mayes; his mother Cheri Joan DeGonia Lee; one sister Tonia Naug; one brother Michael Naug and wife Starla Naug; his loving niece Brianna Naug; two nephews Blaise Naug, Teagan Minks and many friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
