I was so shocked to open the newspaper today and see the obituary, my heart hurts for you children, and pray you will remember the good times, the great memories you have with Mike. I know Carol Trussell and I value our friendship with Mike and will continue to pray for your families. There is a very bright Angel star in Heaven now shining down on us. I was saddened to learn of Mike's death. Mike was a close friend during our teenage years and after.We had many fun times together growing up in Fairfield and Athens. I was with Mike the night he accepted the Lord as his savior in a little church in Athens many years ago. Mike has held fast in his belief and love for our Lord and savior. Rest in Pease my friend.

I was so sorry to receive word yesterday about Mike's passing. We were classmates. We were friends on Facebook. I read often his posts about his faith in God. I have no doubt he is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord. Prayers to his family and friends. RIP Mike.

It was such sad news to hear about the death of Mike. We graduated high school together. I recall good times as classmates. He was always so much fun. As so many of us drift apart through the years it was good to keep in touch on Facebook. He seemed so proud of his family and his love for them so obvious. I last saw him in person at a class reunion a few years ago. The memories you share with a classmate never die. He will forever live on in the hearts of the Class of '72. RIP friend.
