Obituary for Paul James Childress
Malakoff – Memorial services for Paul Childress, 67, of Malakoff, Texas will be held at a later date. He passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Athens, Texas.
Paul James Childress was born August 30, 1949 in Dallas, Texas the son of Frank James Childress and Flora Lee Armold Childress. He was a member of the Caney Creek Baptist Church and loved taking pictures. He retired from Borden’s Company as an Ink Matcher and loved spending time with his family. Paul was a loving father and will be greatly missed by all he knew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Francis Childress.
He is survived by his children, Sonya Boyd of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Trina Childress of Ft. Worth, Lisa Williamson and husband James of Malakoff and three grandchildren, Shadow and Cody Boyd and Crystal Hargrove.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens, Texas.
