The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Madalyn Hammer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Scott Miller

To some of you Madalyn Hammer was simply Mad or Madalyn. To me, she was my Godmother, Aunt Mad. While I know that no one lives forever, I thought she might be the one who did. I have memories of her from the time I was old enough to form memories. She was always my fun, loving, story telling, singing 2nd mom. There is now a huge hole in my heart. But I'm comforted by the fact that she lived a life most of us can only dream of......and she knew she was loved dearly. I can't make the memorial service Thursday but at the request of her son, Joe Mahoney, I'll be raising a martini and singing the song "Yellowbird" at the top of my lungs. I'll miss you my sweet, fun Aunt Mad, Love you.....Scott
