Obituary for David Chandler Cook
David Chandler Cook, 76, of Bastrop passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. A gathering for friends and family will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his daughters home.
David was born on January 22, 1940 in Tyler, TX, son of Norman Lamar Cook and Adelene Ellis Cook Owens. He enjoyed working with computers and travelling the country. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
David is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughters, Tana Doss and husband Tommy of Tyler, Traci Campbell and husband Russell, and Christi Diggens and husband Aaron; grandchildren, Russell Byron Capbell II, Amanda Brite Will Doss, Ben Doss, and Chandler Diggens; and great grandchildren, Madilyn Rose Campbell, Brinley Kate Campbell, and Rustin Brite.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to a cancer foundation of your choice.
